length and weighs over 1000 pounds, don't imagine it - do it. Maybe your into
catching the next world record walleye - most experts agree that walleye will
come from the Columbia River. If king salmon or silver salmon is your favorite
fishing The Columbia and the Oregon coast river's have huge runs of salmon that are
second only to some Alaska rivers, with Chinook or King Salmon up to and over 60
pounds and Coho or silver salmon up to 25 pounds. One of our most popular fish
is the spring chinook salmon - without a doubt the best eating salmon in the
world and we catch them in downtown Portland. Our steelhead run up to 30 pounds.
Sturgeon fishing in Astoria or Portland always provides lots of action and some
great eating fillets. Speaking of great eating - Dungeness crab. Fishing or
crabbing as we call it here is fantastic and makes an excellent addition to a
